Micro-organisms feed on paper & starch present in the adhesives, hence there are high chances of fungal or bacterial attack on boxes. We usually notice them as microbial spots appearing on the boxes.

This will generate a negative impact on end users who majorly depend on boxes to showcase their products. Hence it is necessary to use a biocide which will instantly kill micro-organisms & won’t allow them to feed on paper & starch.

Once the Gum preparation is finished, kindly add the chemical & mix well for 2 – 3 minutes.

The gel temperature/pH/viscosity remains constant.

When Biocide K -90 is added, it kills the microorganisms present in the adhesive. So even when the glue is fed excessively, there won’t be any microorganisms feeding on it.

NOTE :

BIOCIDE K-90 can also be incorporated into our gum powder and supplied.
BIOCIDE K-90 can be used in any Starch/Dextrin based adhesives.
