Proper Bonding (100% Fiber tear when we try to separate the paper ply’s) plays a vital role in defining the aesthetics of the boxes. There are various parameters that impart strong bonding to the boards. Adequate penetration, solids, viscosity, gel temperature, glue application help define 100% Fiber Tear.

Automatic & Semi-Automatic corrugators generally face bonding issues in terms of bubble formations, edges delamination, delaminating after two-three days etc.

With our rich experiences & knowledge on various paper/machines, we have been able to formulate an additive for increasing gum penetration and bonding.

Once the Gum preparation is finished, kindly add the chemical & mix well for 2 – 3 minutes.

The gel temperature/pH/viscosity remains constant.

When MB 2700 is incorporated into an adhesive, it will reduce the surface tension & lets the adhesive penetrate deeply between the sheets of paper. Thereby imparting a superior bonding.

NOTE :

MB2700 can also be incorporated into our gum powder and supplied.
MB2700 can be used in any Starch/Dextrin based adhesives.
